This is a simple one.

Laugh.

Laugh at your kids' stupid, pointless, yet nonetheless hilarious jokes. That makes them feel special. Zerin told me he feels powerful when he can make me smile.

Another blog???? Are you crazy???

I have actually wanted to write a book on this subject for a long time. Not because I think I have tons of ideas, but because I think strength of a nation lies in the strength of a family, and the more we do to strengthen our families, the better our world will be. But I'm afraid if I wait put this in book form, it will never happen, so here comes a blog :) I decorate for Christmas AND Thanksgiving the day after Halloween. I love meaningful traditions. I love to celebrate life. I love the little details that make every day special. I am LDS...I mention that because a LOT of my ideas and traditions tie into my faith, though most can be adapted to fit your own unique family situation. Most of these are not my original ideas. Wherever possible, I will give credit to whoever came up with the idea. My hope is that some of these ideas can enrich the time you spend with your family. I would love your ideas and suggestions!
